A FORMER Bexleyheath schoolgirl has vowed to remain off the top shelf of newsagents, despite being picked as the face of Playboy TV.
Tabledancer Simone Haynes (above), won the final round of the cable channel's Search for a Star competition and a six-month contract with Playboy TV, £2,000 prize money, professional portfolio and photo shoots.
But the 19-year-old former Townley Grammar School for Girls' pupil is adamant she will not appear in adult magazines.
She said: "I will not let the industry push me into more hardcore top-shelf work and I'm strong enough not to be taken advantage of."
She says she wants to keeps the respect of her five siblings and her parents Sue (above), 47, and Compton Haynes, 50, who live in Holly Hill Road, Erith.
"My dad, who's a banker, would prefer for me to still be in education. He would be over-the-moon if I went back to school but the money in table dancing can be so good."
The teenager once earned £2,000 in 20 minutes at Stringfellow's nightclub in central London.
