TV PRESENTER Nicholas Parsons and actor Sir Timothy Ackroyd had the audience in fits of laughter at a unique event at the Ripley Arts Centre.
A Step Out of Time was performed before a sell-out crowd in a bid to raise funds for the Ripley Development Appeal which aims to improve current facilities.
The show saw Ackroyd recite his life experiences in a comical performance before Parsons appeared on stage to help organise an auction.
A spokesman for the centre said: “This proved to be a huge success.
“The audience were transfixed by the occasion and everyone seemed to have a great time.”
