CARRETERO Jonathan Joseph "Jonty" 'Ere Nipper. We're very sorry to have to announce that Jonathan died suddenly in his home in Majorca on Thursday 25th January. He was 55 years old, taken much too soon. He will always be loved and remembered by his broken hearted "Mummy", sisters Sophie and Chrissie, Nieces Lottie and Liv and Nephew Dan. xxx

So many childhood and schoolday memories of my best friend from 45 years ago. We lost touch but the recollections of fishing (out of season) at Somerton Reservoir and this photo of us from ABK are very strong. Over 4 decades may have passed but knowing you’re no longer here still hurts. Rest in Peace my friend.

So sad to hear this news. 'Caz' and I hung out in the late 80's. He was fun, full of energy and ideas for the future. No doubt the world is a darker place without him.
