AS PART of the Isle of Wight Festival's 50th birthday, one lucky festival goer is to be given an exclusive backstage experience.
On the Saturday, festival goers are encouraged to dress in their best gold finery to celebrate the festival's golden jubilee.
The best dressed will be anointed the Golden Goddess or God at 2pm on the Saturday by the helter skelter.
They will receive a champagne picnic, a backstage tour and access to the pit to watch the action from the Main Stage.
Birthday celebrations will also showcase on Sky Arts, where the Isle of Wight Festival's 20 Greatest Moments will premiere at 9pm on Saturday, June 19.
The programme will celebrate the iconic music festival with a look back at some of the greatest and most memorable performances from the events illustrious history.
