WATCH as trapped cow hoisted to safety by Isle of Wight firefighters
WE'VE all had rough nights — but have you ever ended up in a ditch and needed rescuing by Isle of Wight firefighters?
Spare a thought for this poor heifer who had to be rescued from a ditch in Adgestone on Tuesday evening.
The cow was sedated, and freed from the ditch by crews using specialist large animal equipment.
Working with a vet, the animal was moo-ved to safety and left to sleep off the sedation.
