ISLAND artist Lis Toft has returned from The Handmade Fair, a large exhibition held in the beautiful surroundings of Hampton Court Palace.

The event celebrates 'all things creative', involves hundreds of exhibitors and attracts thousands of visitors every year.

TV celebrity and crafting enthusiast, Kirstie Allsop, presents the event. She visited Lis Toft's stand and admired the porcelain collection.

Kirstie said the tropical pools jewellery was absolutely beautiful and was very enthusiastic to see the Christmas dinner Christmas tree decorations.

She said: "Your porcelain mince pies are truly inspired."

Lis Toft is now back on the Island to prepare for her next exhibition, held alongside the Crafty Artist group at Quarr Abbey from September 27 to October 2.

Alongside Lis Toft's porcelain will be Pat Cornwell, Tim England, Pauline Evans and Ray Dickinson, exhibiting wire sculpture, abstract art, glass and woodwork.
