CELEBRITIES known for Eastenders, Eurovision and Blue Peter have been spotted on the Island this week.

TV presenter and actress Michelle Collins, best known for her role as Cindy Beale in Eastenders, Cheryl Baker, a member of Eurovision-winning Bucks Fizz, and Tim Vincent, from Blue Peter, were staying at Eversley Hotel in Ventnor.

Izzy Stritton, aged 12, is used to having celebrities stay in the family's hotel.

She said it was nice to meet someone from Blue Peter in the 'old days' and that Tim was very friendly and asked her about school.

The group were also spotted at Carisbrooke Castle, along with comedian Bobby Davro, where they were given a tour and went to see the donkeys.

It is thought they are all on the Island to film for a Channel 5 celebrity reality show.
