'Awesome adventures,' 'amazing friends,' a fantastic weekend' and the 'best camp ever' were among the reviews after a weekend of Easter fun on the Isle of Wight.

From as far afield as Liverpool, Wales and Isle of Man, 550 scouts and guides, aged 14 to 25, marked the weekend with an animal-themed camp.

Activities included rib rides, fencing, tree climbing and laser combat.

All the participants visited the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary in Yaverland, where they made treats for the animals.
