An Isle of Wight man denies causing racially or religiously aggravated harassment at the John Smith's Stadium in Huddersfield.
Oliver O'Sullivan, 20, of Captain's Parade, East Cowes, pleaded not guilty at Huddersfield Magistrates' Court on December 7.
The charge relates to an incident on November 4, when Huddersfield Town FC played Watford FC at the John Smith's Stadium.
Mr O'Sullivan was remanded on unconditional bail until the trial on March 18.
