On Christmas night I suffered a stroke.
Luckily, I was at my daughter's home where she immediately phoned for an emergency ambulance.
It arrived very quickly and I was whisked off to St Mary's.
The speed of that, alongside the treatment I received was second to none, without which, I would not be able to sit and write this letter.
My care was extended to a stay in the Adelaide Care Home in Ryde, where the staff are lovely, from nurses to kitchen. Here physiotherapy commenced.
When I returned home, this was extended for a further two weeks along with visits from the stroke nurse.
The care I have received has been exceptional, so once again thank you.
