Mew The Movers, a long-standing Isle of Wight family business, has earned accreditation from the British Association of Removals (BAR).

Founded in the 1920s by Albert Mew and now run by the Atkins family for 21 years, the company is known for its loyal customer base and quality service across the Island and beyond.

The moving service is now headquartered in Chapel Lane, Merstone after being originally set up in Ventnor.

John Atkins, partner at Mew The Movers, said: "We are honoured to receive accreditation from the British Association of Removals.

"This recognition underscores our enduring commitment to delivering exceptional service and reliability to our cherished clientele both here on the Isle of Wight and the mainland.

"As we proudly display the BAR badge, our customers can trust us to provide seamless and stress-free moving experiences."

The new BAR accreditation recognises the commitment of Mew The Movers to excellence in professional removal service.

The accreditation involves robust professionalism and regular inspections to ensure exemplary service standards in adherence with the BAR Code of Practice.

To protect customers financially during the relocation process, the company is also now providing an 'advanced payment guarantee' and free independent dispute resolution service.
