A SNAPPING turtle that was stolen from an Isle of Wight pet shop was posted through the shop's letter box over night.
The turtle was stolen last Wednesday, December 6, from Wight Vipers Exotic Pets and Supplies, High Street, Ryde, and was found this morning (Wednesday) when staff arrived at work.
When the turtle was stolen, Wight Vipers said they were reviewing CCTV from above the tank and appealed for information from the public.
Wight Vipers said: "He's very very cold but alive. We're slowly warming him up and hoping he'll be okay.
"He obviously became too hot to handle after the fantastic response we received from all of you. We can't thank you all enough.
"Keep your fingers crossed that this little man comes round and is okay."
