As reported in the national press, the drop in NHS waiting lists is the biggest ever for one month. Although this is very much welcomed, I must warn your readers that the waiting lists are now at approximately the same level as when the Labour government assumed power.
The Labour Party in their manifesto promised us reduced waiting lists and an improved NHS. After 17 months in power, all they have accomplished is giving us the same waiting lists as before and another NHS winter crisis.
Labour told us that the NHS was safe in their hands. I think Labour's hands could do with some NHS treatment.
