TABARD RUGBY CLUB eased through to the semi-final of the Herts Presidents Cup where they are due to meet Fullerians after a comfortable 33-3 victory against neighbours Old Verulamians.
The Radlett-based outfit absorbed early Old Vees pressure before Dudly broke from a Tabard scrum to go over with Drew converting.
Old Vees responded well but overthrew their own line-out on the Tabard 22 and Ions intercepted with Dudly going over for his second score to increase the advantage.
Mitchell also got in on the act with a try and although Old Vees reduced the arrears with a penalty, Matthews and Woodward scored further tries to wrap up victory.
