CRICKETER Adam Hose has become the latest Isle of Wight player to join the professional ranks.

The former Ventnor batsman, 22, has been offered a 14-month deal with Somerset, and will make his official debut tomorrow (Thursday) night, in the T20 Blast competition against Hampshire at the Ageas Bowl, to be shown on Sky Sports 2, from 6.30pm.

He has been playing, and impressing, for Somerset’s second team in the last couple of months, most recently hitting 141 in a one-day match against Surrey.
