December 29, 2000 10:30: A tractor refurbished by students from Ravensbourne School, Hayes Lane, Bromley, is ready to be sent to Kenya.
It will be going to a Massai village near Narok, in Kenya, as part of a container full of vital goods to help children and farmers in the east African country. The eight students, who have spent their free time preparing the tractor, are all part of the health and social care group at Ravensbourne School, which is run by Andree Jordan.
