Morden Corinthians Aussie star A Pell bowled an economical spell against Southern Railway conceding just two runs off 16 overs and taking two wickets on Saturday.

The Southern Railway batsmen found his nagging pace, variety and line and length too much to handle and could only manage 96 for 7. G Pinkney, S Hamilton and D O'Brien each managed to take two wickets in a grand team effort.

The Corinthians themselves found life difficult in getting the runs in conditions suiting the bowlers, but A Ratiq (30) and S O'Neil notched up the required runs as Morden won convincingly by five wickets.
