LETTERS From Bill Martin, Cowes:
I CAN'T wait for one of the Spanish slugs mentioned by Keith Newbery to visit my garden (CP, 12-10-12).
If they do indeed eat dogs’ mess, perhaps it could be trained to eat cats’ mess also.
If so, I could tether it on my lawn where there is always a constant supply of the stuff kindly deposited by the many cats living in the neighbourhood and which I have to clear up before I can cut the grass.
