An eight-year-old Greenford schoolboy may be expelled from his primary school for doing as his father says.
Azam Begg, the 32-year-old father from Hill Rise in Greenford has instructed his son not to speak to Mrs Fulton the headteacher of Oldfield Primary School in Oldfield Lane North, and not to recognise her authority.
He has also written to Mrs Fulton with orders that she be 'excluded from speaking to him unless me or my wife are present.'
The boy now refuses to speak to or be spoken to by his headteacher, and only chants 'call my Dad' when she attempts any exchange.
An Ealing Education Authority spokesman said of the boy: 'If he is instructed by his father not to accept the authority of the headteacher then he could potentially find himself in a position where his own health and safety, or others, may be threatened. This would be of serious concern.'
The dispute between Mr Begg and the school began after his son alleged an incident of bullying in November last year and he was not satisfied with the investigation which was subsequently carried out.
The EEA spokesman said: 'When it's one child's word against another's, with no witnesses, it's difficult to reach a conclusion.'
Mr Begg, who has been refused a primary school place for his son elsewhere in the area due to lack of space, is threatening legal action.
