SCHOOLBOY rockers who call themselves 'The Tali-band' are trying to raise spirits following the terrorist attacks on America with their brand of music.

If you spot a loud, nine-strong bunch of 16-year-old schoolboys complete with pigs wearing wigs, white lab coats and rainbow coloured hair, don't fret they are likely to be the masters of disguise from Sir William Borlase Grammar School, in West Street, in Marlow, bringing rock and roll to a school near you.

Cox Green School and Desborough School have already opened their doors to their unique music and according to the band, a growing fanbase suggests things are only just beginning.

"We thought people are feeling so low after everything that's happened recently that we would make things lighter with the pure experience of music," said a member.

"Obviously the name draws attention to us but there's another top secret reason behind the name. Each letter in our name signifies something but we are not revealing exactly what."

The group hope to sign to a record label and release their first track called 'In the Jungle' soon.
