MUSIC fans flocked to the Isle of Wight Seam Railway for this year’s FolkStation event — billed as the south coast’s premier folk festival.
The weekend’s event, which featured musicians and performers from across the country, kicked off on Friday and ran until Sunday.
Headliners included Welsh singer songwriter Deborah Hodgson, Spiers and Boden — featuring Radio 2 folk singer of the year Jon Boden — and Island band Lucid, making a welcome return to the event following a storming set last year.
Island charities to benefit from the event include the Earl Mountbatten Hospice, Isle of Wight Asthma Swim Group, Isle of Wight branch of Asthma UK and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
