MORE THAN 150 businesses interested in becoming involved in the Highways PFI attended a "meet the buyer" event this week.
The event, organised by Island Roads and held at Lakeside Park Hotel Wootton, gave businesses the chance to find out more about how they could become involved.
Paul Herbert, Island Roads service director, said they were delighted with the turnout.

the businesses probably wanted to find out how much income they would lose when their area would be affected with roads closures bearing in mind the roads updates also include pavements and street lighting etc. etc!!!!!.
