MORE THAN 150 businesses interested in becoming involved in the Highways PFI attended a "meet the buyer" event this week.

The event, organised by Island Roads and held at Lakeside Park Hotel Wootton, gave businesses the chance to find out more about how they could become involved.

Paul Herbert, Island Roads service director, said they were delighted with the turnout.
