FOUR student stockbrokers proved their financial expertise, when they were announced as the best young investors in the country.
Claire Chee, 16, Apeksha Shah, 15, Kezia Gaitskell, 16, and Ann-Marie Sim, 16, all year 11 students at Haberdashers' Aske's' School for Girls in Aldenham Road, Elstree, were awarded first prize in the ProShare National Investment Programme 2000 last Friday, after investing in a successful portfolio of shares.
The girls, who will be taking their GCSE examinations in a few weeks time, found out about the competition on the Internet.
The girls secured their place in the competition by . They went on to win their regional final and final, held at the London Stock Exchange last week.
