A COLLISION with a telegraph pole closed Ashey Road, Ryde, earlier today (Monday).
Two vehicles were involved in the incident, which happened outside Ashey Road Garage at 1.41pm.
An Isle of Wight Police spokesman said the road was temporarily closed while officers dealt with the crash.
Drivers suffered minor injuries, the spokesman said.
*One person was taken to St Mary's Hospital as a precaution, an Isle of Wight Ambulance Service spokesman said.
