Car fire at pub

A CAR was gutted by fire outside a Newport pub last night (Sunday).

Firefighters were called to the scene at The Robin Hood Inn, Robin Hood Street, Pan, shortly after 9.30pm.

A spokeswoman for the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said the car was severely damaged by the flames.
