IT'S not just Father Christmas who's in demand jobs-wise in the run-up to December 25.
A Job Centre is getting into the Christmas spirit early by hosting a job fair for employers looking for extra workers during the festive season.Staff will be decorating a tree specially at the job centre in Holbeach Road on Wednesday October 7.
Employers such as Argos, Boots, Marks and Spencer, Next, Sainsburys, WH Smith and Woolworths will all be at the event. Job Centre staff will offer guidance to employers on the New Deal which is part of the Government's new programme.
They will also offer work trials to give employers the chance to take on an unemployed person for up to three weeks.
Potential recruits have the chance to try out a job while continuing to receive benefit.
