Crash at Ashey Road

FIREFIGHTERS and Isle of Wight Ambulance crews were called to a three vehicle crash at the junction of Ashey Road and East Ashey Road, Ryde, this morning (Tuesday).

The collision took place at around 8.18am. Two fire engines attended the scene after reports that one person was reported as trapped in a vehicle.

A spokesman confirmed the woman had been freed by around 9am.

One person was being treated by ambulance crews but the casualty’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, according to Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
