A DRIFTING 80ft yacht with engine failure off the Isle of Wight was rescued by Yarmouth RNLI Lifeboat in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).
The lifeboat was called to the aid of the yacht, which was off Cowes and dragging its anchor, at around 4.19am. There was concern it was drifting close to shipping lanes.
The yacht was towed to safety in Cowes.
