TEN new jobs will be created on the Isle of Wight with the opening of a new furniture factory and showroom.
James Purves, John Diffey and James Patterson, who all come from a manufacturing background, founded Lynchwood Furniture last year and are investing £300,000 in a new furniture factory at Isle of Wight Airport, Sandown.
The company said most of the new jobs will be in manufacturing but it also plans to open a new showroom in April.
Mr Purves, managing director, said: "We are excited to be associated with the Island and we will be using Island-based suppliers as much as possible."
He said they would advertise the vacancies next month.

Lee Majors The question in that case I would ask myself IS it solid wood or chip wood with a wood veneer? Sorry to tell you but you dont need to use bee's wax on veneer.

On asking Lynchwood Furnitures about how to make my new table last a lifetime, I was told that nobody uses bee's wax on their furniture anymore. Well, that is another job taken by the Polish.
