FIREFIGHTERS were called to Bembridge Airport earlier today (Monday).
A crew from Ryde rushed to the scene at 1.12pm and discovered it was a false alarm.
An alarm in the hangar had been activated but there were no signs of a fire, an Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said.
