Saffron Waldon..................2

(Schweppes Essex Senior League)

SAWBRIDGEWORTH TOWN boss Graham Norcott is hoping to be able to bring in some new faces in the next few weeks to kickstart his team's season.

Sawbo crashed to a 2-0 defeat to local rivals Saffron Walden on Saturday, continuing the miserable run which has left them free-falling towards the bottom of the league. A goal in each half was enough to beat them on Saturday and Norcott insisted they got no more than their efforts warranted.

He said: "They deservedly took the lead in the first half and although we improved after half-time, and created a couple of chances ourselves, we didn't do enough to get anything from the game.

"We can do a lot better and I am looking to bring in a couple of new players over the next few weeks which will make all the difference."

Sawbo are away to East Ham in the league on Saturday.
