April 26, 2001 10:05: AN EIGHT-year-old girl has been immortalised in Lego after writing a prize winning story.
Ria Bray, who goes to Darrick Wood Junior School, won a 3D picture of herself made up in the building blocks, after entering a Christmas competition run by London radio station Heart FM and Legoland.
For the competition Ria had to write a story, which started with the line "One wintry Christmas morning".
Her story was chosen as the best out of thousands of entries, and as well as the portrait she also won a trip with her family to Legoland, in Windsor.
Ria's father Alan said: "It is a great achievement for a girl of her age. The prize is such a unique and personal object. I'm extremely proud of her."
