FLOATING bridge protesters are making their voices heard outside County Hall this evening (Wednesday).
Isle of Wight councillors are due to meet at 6pm, where they will decide whether or not to suspend foot passenger charges until the problems with the vessel have been resolved, and axe charges for parents taking their children to school.
The floating bridge, which has been beset by problems and repeatedly taken out of service since it was launched in May, is due to be signed over to the Isle of Wight Council tomorrow.
It will officially become council property, much to the dismay of Floaty McFloat Farce protesters who say the design of the vessel, which runs between Cowes and East Cowes, is fundamentally flawed.
