NEWPORT ROMAN VILLA will be open free of charge on Saturday, to celebrate the Festival of Archaeology.
Bring along any interesting or mysterious archaeological finds and have them identified by Frank Basford, finds liaison officer with the Portable Antiquities Scheme.
There will be a selection of archaeological finds on display and the Roman Villa will be free to explore.
Newport Roman Villa was discovered in 1926 and it has one of the best preserved bath suites in Southern England.
There is something for all the family, including a herb garden, museum display, sandpit excavations, hands on activities and photo hunt.

It will be open between 11am and 3pm.
