AN INDIAN restaurant held a charity dinner which raised £1,300 for a Bromley hospice.
The Bengal Lancer in Royal Parade, Chislehurst, raised the cash for South Bromley HospisCare.
More than 100 diners went along with £10 from each meal going to the charity.
Owners of the restaurant Ashik and Shuhel Choudhary said: "We are very happy to host this event at our restaurant to raise much-needed funds for the hospice.
"It does a lot of good work in the community and we wanted to help."
Fundraising manager for the hospice Mary Vigar said: "We would like to thank the restaurant owners for their generosity.
"We also thank volunteers Beverley Vaughan and Wendy Simmons for their time and enthusiasm in helping to organise the charity dinner which was a great success."
