'Grenade' found on beach

The suspected grenade, found on Brook beach, Isle of Wight.

A BOMB disposal team from HMS Nelson, Portsmouth, has been called to an Isle of Wight beach today (Saturday) where a suspected unexploded grenade was found.

The suspect device was found by a walker on Brook Beach.

Police set up a 50 metre cordon around the object.
