Ray Harrington-Vail of Isle of Wight charity the Footprint Trust.
THE Isle of Wight Footprint Trust’s Ray Harrington-Vail has been nominated for an award that recognises those who have helped people living in fuel poverty.
Mr Harrington-Vail, general manager of the Footprint Trust, was nominated for the NEA Heat Heroes Award Scheme by Isle of Wight Council low-carbon projects officer Jim Fawcett.
Mr Harrington-Vail is one of 14 winners from England and Wales who travel to London on Tuesday to receive their certificates at the House of Commons on Tuesday.
Mr Harrington-Vail has been increasingly concerned about Island fuel poverty and has secured funding to deliver three projects to help vulnerable people.
