Holiday caravans fire

ISLE of Wight Fire and Rescue was called to a Yarmouth farm last night (Thursday) after reports of two caravans on fire.

The fire and rescue crews headed to land near Tapnell Farm, Newport Road, at 9.44pm.

A fire spokeswoman said the caravans were well alight and three fire engines and a water carrier were sent to the scene.

The fire was out by 10.56pm.
