ISLE of Wight bus drivers have careered into the fast lane and gone a bit racy by stripping off for a charity calendar.

Ten drivers volunteered for the project and were photographed by colleague Tamara Winter for the shoot.

The calendar was originally made as a joke for their colleague Jill Stone, a fellow bus driver who is going through chemotherapy for breast cancer following a mastectomy.

The shoot was organised by Gemma Roberts, Stephen Bryant and Claire Russell, who all work with Jill, but more and more people started asking for the calendar and they have now sold 150.

The endeavour has raised £450 for Breast Cancer UK.

Jill took part in a Brave the Shave event in December — having her long hair shaved off and donated to the Little Princess Trust, which turns the locks into wigs for children who have lost their hair through cancer.

At the event, Jill's colleague Wendy Foster made cakes and £659 was put into fundraising buckets for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Calendars are available from Newport Bus Station at £6 each.
