Police are still no closer to catching Finchley jeweller Solly Nahome's killer.

The 48-year-old man from Arden Road was ambushed as he returned home on November 27 at 4.44pm.

It is believed he was chased down the road and shot several times in the head by a black man wearing a balaclava.

Officers have been questioning residents in the Arden Road and Salisbury Road area. Another man was seen in Arden Road around the time of the shooting and police urgently want to speak to him -- although the sightings could be of the same man.

There is no official line on the motive for the killing yet.

Witnesses are asked to contact DCI David Cater at the Peel Centre's incident room on 0181 358 1758.
