A ONE man crime wave has hit Bromley, carrying out a string of burglaries in one area.
Police believe one man, who operated in, and around, Burnt Ash Lane, is responsible for almost 10 per cent of the burglaries carried out in the whole of the borough.
Borough Commander Chief Superintendent David Dillnutt told Bromley councillors a burglar had targeted the area in Bromley North for three months last year.
Other "hot spots" include Penge and Anerley, where nine per cent of burglaries happen, and Orpington.
Chief Supt Dillnutt also said he is confident of hitting the target of reducing burglary by two per cent.
