CHILDREN’S author Philip Bell will be at Ryde Library on Saturday for National Libraries day.

Libraries fan, Mr Bell will be reading from his latest book Jack and Boo’s Dinosaur Isle from 11am until noon.

"My family and I regularly use libraries. We try to go every week and borrow books and DVDs. Sometimes it’s hard to get my children out of the library when they find a good book and a comfy beanbag," said Philip.

National Libraries Day is run by the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) to promote libraries.
