The 16th annual Harry Hawkes '8', an 8-mile run on Sunday, July 2, starting and finishing at Giggs Hill Green, Thames Ditton, will see hundreds of people from all over the UK take part.
The run follows the banks of the Thames, first along the Queen's Promenade to Kingston, over Kingston Bridge, then along the towpath by Home Park to Hampton Court Bridge before returning to the starting point.
Organisers are hoping to add to the £55,000 raised by The Harry Hawkes '8' to provide funds for various charities, schools and sports organisations for young people. Runners are free organise their own sponsorship to raise money for their own favourite charity.
