NEWLY reformed 80s band Ultravox, whose hits include Vienna and Dancing With Tears In My Eyes, will be appearing in The Big Top at this year’s Isle of Wight Festival.

Maximo Park, White Lies, The View, The Rifles, 60s band The Zombies and special guest Paolo Nutini have also been added to the line up.

These acts will take to the main stage on Saturday, June 13, while Ultravox will be joined by the popular Australian Pink Floyd to close the Big Top.

The acts will appear alongside Neil Young, Stereophonics, Razorlight, The Ting Tings, Basement Jaxx and Prodigy, who have already confirmed their attendance at this year’s event.

The announcement confirms a return to the IW for Maximo Park, who played in 2006, Paolo Nutini, who played in 2007, and the Australian Pink Floyd, who also closed last year’s Saturday night line up in the Big Top.
