A CHILDREN'S book-reading session, balloons and new computers featured at a celebration of the refurbishment of a library.
Chris Williams, chief officer for Buckinghamshire County Council, read Where's Spot? and We're Going on a Bear Hunt to the children from Bledlow Pre-School at the new children's section at Princes Risborough library in Bell Street last Thursday.
The pupils were just some of the visitors who had gone along to celebrate the library's new lay-out and brightly-coloured children's section.
Assistant librarian Jo Morris said: "The children were absolutely rapt at the reading.
She added: "Mr Williams was very, very good. We thought he'd missed his vocation."
The library was also celebrating the arrival of six new computers as part of the Buckinghamshire People's Network.
Free internet access can now be given to all residents, who can also use programs like Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
