CHILDREN and parents at a pre-school centre in Swanscombe were paid a visit by the Kent County Council chairman.
Christopher Thornton visited Under One Roof Early Years Centre in Swanscombe Street and was given a tour of the building before joining the children for a singing session.
Mr Thornton said: "I was pleased to be able to meet some parents and children who really value what the centre does for them."
The centre is a partnership between the council and a number of health, statutory and voluntary organisations, which provides facilities for pre-school children and their parents and after-school clubs.
