TOP chemists in Bromley have been given awards for their high professional standards.
Twenty two chemists in the borough have worked hard over the past year to demonstrate their pharmacies meet high standards in customer care and advice.
This pioneering scheme was set up by Bromley Primary Care Trust (PCT) in agreement with local chemists.
Chemists in Beckenham who received certificates were Blackwells Chemist, Boots the Chemist, Elmers Pharmacy, Langley Pharmacy, Peters Chemist, Scotts Pharmacy and Superdrug.
Award-winning chemists in Bromley are Boots the Chemist in the High Street, Caxton Pharmacy, Gordon Davie, London Lane Pharmacy and Scotts Pharmacy.
And award-winning che-mists in Orpington are Cray Pharmacy, Crofton Pharmacy and HN Dickinson.
Other successful chemists are Hamlet Pharmacy, in Anerley, LM Williams, in Chislehurst. Lloyds Pharmacy, in Chislehurst, United Pharmacy, in Anerley and Village Pharmacy.
Chairman of Bromley PCT Professor Adrian Eddleston said: “I am delighted these local chemists are leading the way in quality improvement for the benefit of the people of Bromley.
“I am even more impressed they have been able to achieve this on top of their routine daily commitments.”
