The funeral of a 15-year-old Kenton schoolboy killed on holiday was to be held today (Thursday).
Alex Kodina, 15, of Edgware, who was due to start his final year at St Greogry's Roman Catholic High School in Donnington Road, Kenton, next week, died after an accident about two weeks ago.
Headteacher Martin Early, said Alex's family and school staff and pupils were devastated. He knew little about the accident, but believed it happened on the Continent.
"He was a delightful, bright very popular boy," Mr Early said.
The school has helped organise readings and music for the funeral service, at St Matthias RC Church in Edgware, and a memorial service will be held at the school when the new term starts.
