HARLOW showed they are capable of playing some superb 15-man running rugby as they destroyed Romford and Gidea Park on Saturday.

Rhys Loveday opened the scoring with Vanston adding the conversion. Peter Keeling quickly doubled the try tally and Loveday kicked another two points.

Scrum half Lee Harron then darted over with a trademark score for the third touch down before Toby Clay, returning after injury, made it four.

A rattled Romford then scored their only points to trail 24-7 before Harlow cut loose.

Harron flicked the ball wide to Neil McMullen to run in the first of his two tries. Wayne Morgan then went over under the posts.

There was still time for another two scores through Harron and flanker Richard May who also added the final two points.

Next Sunday, the Rams travel to Barking for the Essex sevens.
