CASH will help UKSA get young people to develop their confidence through watersports sessions.
The charity has been granted £7,752 from Wight Aid towards its Test the Water programme, which will allow all Island Year 6 students to take part in a half-day session, which helps develop confidence and self-belief.
Activities will include sailing rafts, learning how to build a boat, and sailing around obstacles. The cheque was presented to UKSA’s chief executive Ben Willows by Wight Aid trustees Geoff Underwood and Claire Willis.
